Up to 70% reduction of infrared (IR) transmission
A significant reduction of summer overheating and support for thermal comfort in winter as well.
It reduces the transmission of infrared (IR) and ultraviolet (UV) radiation while maintaining a clear view and high transmission of visible light.

Protection against UV degradation and a longer lifetime of interior materials.

LUSSO Coating is designed to drastically reduce condensation on glass surfaces. This is particularly beneficial because condensation can obstruct the view, complicate maintenance and potentially lead to problems such as mould growth.
This is a real example from Japan. The degree of condensation depends on many factors (temperature, humidity, air flow, type of glazing and others).
128 kWh/m²/year
71 kg CO₂/m²/year
The stated values are based on actually measured data.
It can be applied to glass of any shape and size, including curved, large-format, frosted or wired glass. Unlike films, there is no risk of glass cracking due to heat.
Two Thermochron G temperature sensors were placed in the same room approximately 5 cm from the window. One sensor was placed in the middle of a glass surface of about 15 m² onto which LUSSO COATING had been applied. The second sensor was placed with the same orientation on a glass surface without LUSSO COATING.
Test duration: 450 hours, from 6 August to 26 August 2009
Test method: In a UV weathering resistance test designed to simulate the effects of one year of sun exposure within 30 hours, three glass samples were evaluated for their durability under continuous UV light with wavelengths from 300 nm to 400 nm. The test used continuous radiation with an irradiance of 100 mW/cm² and a source distance of 240 mm.
Tested samples:
The glass treated with the competitor's coating began to show clouding after 180 hours of UV exposure, which corresponds to roughly six years of sunlight. The glass with film began to degrade after just 30 hours, i.e. after roughly one year of sun exposure.
The glass with the LUSSO Coating nano‑spray showed no signs of deterioration even after 450 hours of testing, which corresponds to 15 years of sunlight. These results prove that LUSSO Coating provides a lastingly clear view and above-standard performance over time.
