A transparent nano-coating for glass that blocks up to 70% of IR and 90% of UV radiation

In the field of heritage conservation, we offer our customers professional cooperation in preserving and restoring historic windows, box-type (double casement) windows and single-glazed windows.

The solution is an extremely thin nano-layer, practically invisible to the eye, applied to the inner side of the existing glazing. This technology significantly improves the thermal-insulation and protective properties of windows without any need to replace them or interfere with the original frames, fittings or profiles. At the same time, the historic character of the windows and the original appearance of the building facade remain fully preserved.

The solution is suitable for a wide range of historic glazing – from single panes and older insulating double glazing to divided or large-format glass panels. With box-type windows, the thermal effect can be further increased by applying the nano-layer to the inner sash. For historic stained glass, we always design protective glazing individually, in cooperation with a restorer and the heritage-protection authorities, to achieve maximum protection while fully respecting the historical value of the work.
